Counter-Strike 2 came as the successor of a very succesful version of the franchise. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will remain as one of the most iconic versions of the game but its time came to an end in 2023.

In September Counter-Strike 2 will complete 3 years of existence and there are already players who have earned more than one million dollars in prize money throughout this short time span.

Overall this version of the game has distributed more than 45 million dollars with over 800 tournaments registered, by the website Esports Earnings. Ropz is the highest on the list followed by their current teammates.

The top 10 of the highest earners is dominated from players of the european region. Only five players have crossed the mark of the one million dollars which are ZywOo, ropz, mezii, apEX and flameZ - the current Vitality team that has been dominating the professional scene of CS2.

The prodigy donk is still off the one million mark, in CS2, but it is close to hitting it, still it is with a difference of more than four hundred thousand dollars between the russian and the 5th position being held by mezii.
